Welcome to Kids Corner, where we believe in empowering the next generation by providing tailored life coaching services specifically designed for teens. Founded by Jshauntae Marshall and Akiko Cooks, Kids Corner is a safe space for young people to express themselves, find support, and learn the tools they need to achieve success in their unique journeys.
The Backstory
Jshauntae and Akiko recognized a significant gap in the services available to today’s youth. They noticed that many children were struggling to find hope and purpose, which in turn led to a lack of motivation and engagement in school. This realization inspired them to create Kids Corner, with a mission to instill hope, excitement, and commitment to personal success in the hearts of young people.
Why Kids Corner?
Traditional life coaching services often focus on adults, neglecting the needs of our youth. At Kids Corner, we believe that starting life coaching earlier can positively impact a child’s life trajectory, equipping them with a resilient mindset that will benefit them well into adulthood. Our programs are designed to address the economic, social, and emotional challenges that many teens face, and to provide the necessary support to help them overcome these obstacles.
Our Services
Our certified life coaches specialize in various areas, including academic success, personal growth, relationships, career exploration, and emotional well-being. We understand that each teen is unique, which is why we tailor our coaching sessions to suit their individual needs. Our team meets with kids in behavior schools and offers them support that goes beyond what they may have already been offered or been unaware of.
In addition to life coaching, we also focus on advocacy, teaching young people to identify and address micro and macro aggressions happening in schools. Our goal is to create a positive impact on the entire family by promoting healthy relationships between parents, siblings, and extended family members.
